Microneedling
Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, is a cosmetic procedure that involves using a device to create tiny punctures in the skin’s surface. These micro-injuries stimulate the body’s natural healing process, leading to increased collagen and elastin production.
Microneedling is often used to improve the appearance of scars, wrinkles, fine lines, hyperpigmentation, and overall skin texture.
Not all microneedling devices are created equal!

Lavish uses the eDermastamp® Collagen Induction Therapy, licensed by Health Canada, device. This is the gold standard of microneedling devices.
What to expect at your appointment

Microneedling is a safe and relatively quick procedure. A topical numbing cream is applied to the area being treated.

During the procedure your esthetician will use the edermastamp at the desired needle depth to go over the face creating tiny pin head punctures. This is turn activates the bodies repair response stimulating collagen & elastin production.

What is the downtime?

Healing from microneedling usually takes 24- 48 hours. However, it may take up to two to three days depending on the extent of the treatment. Your skin may appear red, flushed or feel very taut.

Your results may take up to 2 weeks to become noticeable.

You are an ideal microneedling candidate if you suffer from or are concerned about:
